Happy Wednesday MI Loves!

I am nearing the one month mark since I launched my blog and I must admit it is a ton of work.

Consistently writing two blog posts a week, posting and engaging with my followers on social media, all while balancing a full time job, being in school part time, being a wife, exercising, and spending time with the Lord has all been exhausting.

In the process of balancing it all and trying to figuring out blog life as I go, I can’t help but think about how much further I want to go with my blog and brand Be Spiritually Bold.

During the past week or so, I found myself being a little discouraged about how my blog didn’t have this or that or how my social media needs to look this way or that way in comparison to some of the bloggers that I follow on social media.

In order to get myself out of a funk, I shared my feelings with my Inner Circle Sisters to get some motivation and of course went to my infamous screenshot of motivational quotes and scriptures in my phone. After scrolling through my many screenshots of quotes and scriptures, I stumbled across…

Don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20.

I quickly got myself together and said, ( Mi’esha, you don’t know where their starting point was, you only see where they are now. You weren’t there the days and nights they cried, complained, or even doubted themselves about the vision that they had which is now manifested into what you see. You have to keep going because you have already touched some lives and they are rooting for you even if they have not all told you. You have already started and you are doing the darn thing so keep grinding and werking and greatness will soon follow).

I can’t wait to see where my blog/brand will be 3 months from now, 6 months from now, or even a year from now.

MI loves, we have to keep reminding ourselves and each other that our story is in the beginning stages and it will be a masterpiece once it is written. Mine will be different from yours and yours different from mine. The ultimate thing we must remember is to never give up and keep going so that we may continue to develop chapters that will in turn inspire others to create their stories as well.

To all of MI loves, thanks for checking in with me.
